I mean, in a parliamentary system, what's to stop a potential coalition partner that only won 1-2% of the vote from demanding approval of everything? Their demands are only commensurate to their share of the vote because that's the norm - no? Also: I can't imagine racial quotas for seats in Congress would be very fun. I see is an endless, extremely stupid, and yet very high stakes discourse on how we determine who belong to which race. I see a revival of terms like 'quadroon' and 'octoroon', and scandals over purportedly faked DNA test results. Just abject misery for everyone involved. But I still think Jeff is a great guest - keep having him on!
