The solar company also lost some money by getting paid in September, 2022 dollars, which had had lost a fair bit of their value to inflation over the previous year and a half since they would've gotten paid had they installed the panels on time. I don't know if that benefits the Bruenigs at all though; it may just have changed the party eating the inflation loss, from the financing company to the solar panel company.
