2022-02-14 23:02:26 +0000 UTCRecent studies have shown that young children infected with covid, despite experiencing milder acute symptoms, are more likely to develop lifelong conditions such as diabetes. Given the tendency of parents holding especially reactionary views on vaccinating their young children, getting kids to wear a mask seems like an important step to protecting them. While you can't control what other people do with respect to vaccinating their children, you can at least protect your children. Honestly not sure why y'all have a libertarian type view of freedom when it comes to an aspect of public health. The rest of the takes were great though
