Really appreciate Liz's comments to people who've been assaulted. The tone of the debate on Twitter is really painful for me and it's nice to hear someone have some empathy for how it feels to watch, having been through something very similar to what Reade describes. Plus, Tara's allegation aside, it's depressing (but not surprising) how quickly so many people pivoted to 'oh come on it's just a shoulder rub and a hair sniff what's your problem', too. Really glad you guys have pointed out a few times that even this is unacceptable behaviour and technically a form of harassment. Makes me feel more sane, thanks.

2020-05-17 14:30:47 +0000 UTCGreat point about being Catholic. I basically assume that all Bishop's and people in power are enablers at best and actual monsters at worst. Even when I like their actions or words I always just keep my distance emotionally.
