Hiya dukes! I short and sweet one. Matty share the sauce on this elusive spread sheet. I have a list of games I want to get to but it doesn’t seem as fun and enticing as the one you made. Thank you and have a, I don’t have a funny or clever thing to say kind of day.

2025-06-18 04:19:27 +0000 UTCHowdy Dukes. Wanted to ask you about FF XVI sales on Xbox since the shadow drop. I saw an article from PushSquare (shout out to them) noting XVI has only sold around 22k copies to date. Obviously this is a lower figure in part because of it being an older game available on other platforms for a while and being shadow dropped probably didn’t help. But does this nevertheless not bode well for these types of games getting ported to Xbox in the future. At a certain point, if ports like XVI aren’t going to sell well enough, why would publishers take the time and money to port the games over. I know Xbox pushing for these games is to set the base for future games (eg FF XVII and 7 Part 3) to come to Xbox day and date, but again, if the data shows these games aren’t selling, why would a publisher spend the money unless Xbox is willing to pitch in with a bag. At a certain point, the juice surely isn’t worth the squeeze. Idk. Would be interested to hear your thoughts. Cheers and have a “Florida is STILL a hockey state” kind of day. #GoCats

2025-06-18 02:50:50 +0000 UTCHello crew! According to the Alinea Analytics analytical company, Final Fantasy 16 sold in just 22,000 copies. The Xbox community strikes again! Thoughts? Don't forget the copium! ;3 All the best guys! Don't lose hope!

2025-06-17 07:50:04 +0000 UTCI feel like this is really reductive toward Colin’s point and only presents half of what he said, particularly regarding your last question. Colin said he doesn’t worry about Duke because it’ll be great for many years, with a healthy short to midterm future. And perhaps in the way-down-the-line future, depending how things go, it may make less sense, but that he and Matty are totally fine with the show as is and he doesn’t even think about it right now. I feel like if I were Matty and hadn’t seen the episode but read your question how you presented it, I’d be like “Oh man, that’s crazy, I guess Colin’s looking to can our show here soon or something,” when that very clearly wasn’t how it was discussed.

2025-06-17 04:36:35 +0000 UTCSup Dukes On the most recent mailmag Colin took a question about the future of DD. In not so many words he basically said DD doesn't have a longer term future. That a dedicated Xbox show will be akin to a show about EA which "we don't want". So how do yall feel about this? Do you agree that Xbox isn't worth covering because they release games on PS?
