Metaphor was included in that agreement, as a game that would drop in GP after a set amount of months. Rather than a sign of weakness.

I don’t want a race to the bottom, I want games to be the best they can be and value isn’t the purpose of this hobby. You aren’t entitled to play video games and I’ve never met a cheaper, whinier fanbase than gamers who frankly, have NO CLUE how hard and expensive it is to make a video game. Games are cheaper than ever, easier than ever to buy and are on sale more abundantly than ever before. You have no right to complain. They’re also more expensive to make than ever and before I get the hurr durr Clair Obscura example, that game was essentially funded by a group of trust fund people whose parents are magnificently rich. It was used for an amazing purpose and created an incredible game and seems to be an even better investment, but most AA/AAA companies would never survive charging 50-60 dollars for a game. Adjusted for inflation that’s astronomically cheap. If you don’t like the prices of games going up, don’t play, that’s your right. Speak with your wallet, wait for sales, do whatever you need to do, but yelling into the void like your human rights are tied to video games in day 1 is embarrassing. It’s happening, get over it or get used to not playing video games at launch anymore.

I’m sick of the incessant whining about what is a luxury hobby, entertainment. It’s not a right, you’re not owed anything and no one should feel bad for you if you can’t afford to buy in day 1. The market will adjust if the price point is wrong, but it’s bewildering to see people fight against the cost of toys far more vehemently than the affordability of their healthcare, food and utilities.

The achievements in oblivion only represent a very small portion of the content in the game. There are only achievements for the factions, main quest, and shivering isles main quest.
