JUST finished this episode, and it was a slow burn, but ended up pretty satisfying. Also props to Ramsey, by the end of this episode, I found her more convincing than most of this season so far. Excited to listen to this one!

2025-05-20 04:44:54 +0000 UTCIt's wild to admit, but I'm having fun with this season. Season 1 was stronger overall, but I feel like it spent less time with Joel and Ellie than I would have liked. S2 feels focused, whilst also expanding some key parts of the story. I didn't love the horde raid in episode 2, even though it was engaging action, but the rest of these episodes have had me hooked. Ramsey's portrayal of Ellie is questionable, for sure, but when she gets serious, it works for me. Thanks, as always, for your discussion about the series.
