Love the venting heavy episode. 😆 I miss manuals as well. A lot of memories of a ride home, after a game purchase, perusing the pages of the manual (LoZ: A Link to the Past & Donkey Kong Country being personal highlights… ha, Cranky’s comments within the manual were high class ‘breaking down the wall’ silliness). 😊

I have mixed emotions about working at GameStop and working at a local mom ‘n pop VG store, after that. For every enjoyable encounter I had with a customer, I also had self centered/lazy parents dropping off their kids, to use our console kiosks as a babysitter. So, PLEASE, be wise with where you channel your (completely understandable) frustration and anger. Do not shoot the messenger, storm the manager! 😂

It reminds me of this buddy I had who would keep buying shitty blow from this one guy, and every week, he wold be like "dude, this guy ripped me off again". Then next week, repeat.

2025-05-01 17:11:18 +0000 UTCGene being bothered by the Sonic/Shadow Generations Switch 2 issue is the same way I felt when Sega refused to do upgrades for Persona 5 Royal and Judgment moving from PS4 to PS5. You had to rebuy those games entirely. Sega can be very frustrating.
