Blessed Day Weaver Matty and Hugging Cog, Finishing South of Midnight, I walked away loving the experience. Even despite the game's lackluster combat system, that didn't detract much from a magical adventure from start to finish. Do you think Compulsion will be able to make a sequel? And is this the last time we'll see Microsoft greenlight a platformer for their ecosystem? This, Psychonauts 2 and Hi-Fi Rush were my favorite games from the publisher this generation and would hate to see them stop making platformers like these. Have a 'I need a Crouton plush asap' kind of day.

Hey Dukes! Phil Spencer was recently quoted saying he is “a big believer in Nintendo.” To my surprise, a lot of top comments on social media were “if only Phil was a believer in Xbox.” What do you guys think the general perception of Phil Spencer is right now with the current state of Xbox? Do you think Phil will be under a lot of heat the day Halo and Gears are officially announced for PlayStation? Do you think Phil will be remembered as the savior or killer of Xbox? I’d love to hear your thoughts and thanks for the great content!

Hello Double D's, I'm a Sacred Symbols main, so forgive me this subject has been covered in depth, but do you have any book recommendations? It could be games related, life and health, or just a damn good book. I've been reading The Technological Republic by Alexander Karp. It's a book written by a technocrat about AI. It's a wild ride to see how one of these big tech guys talk and think about technology and it's danger in the wrong hands (of course their hands are always the best;)). Also finished the excellent classic The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde. A truly incredible read. Beautiful language and poignant imagery, it's must read if you like the literary greats. So boys, any recommends?

Dukes… it’s coming. Oblivion is upon us and as someone who has marathoned every elder scrolls in sequence (yes including the DOS games) I have speculations. Oblivion to me has always felt like the middle child of Bethesda games, There are some complex rpg mechanics but the shift towards more action oriented gameplay really starts with oblivion. If the core gameplay mechanics aren’t overhauled extensively, how do you think people will respond, post FO4, to that awkward one foot in, one foot out approach to role playing we seen in OG Oblivion. Other than that, I’m excited to play the intro sequence for the 100th time, but now with zero mods and not gag at the mouth with how atrocious those face models used to look Have a “I can’t wait to buy my horse armor that I already own” kind of day…

Hey, guys Loooong time listener, first time writing in. I couldn't take it anymore. I understand Cog always points out he's terrible with sayings but last week he actually said "old man throwing rocks at clouds" instead of old man yells at clouds. I understand he's a beefy situation and Matty would be glad to see those rocks fall back down onto hapless children playing fortnite, but jesus f-ing christ how can you health is wealth while smoking mad meth on the side? Have a 'Cog just said "break emergency in case of glass" while Matty made a fsshh sound that didn't even sound like glass breaking AT ALL' kind of day

Hello Cog and Matty, This is a quick health is wealth positive post! My wife and I have been preparing for 9 months to welcome our baby into this world. My son will be born this week or next (if she needs to be induced). I am a first time father and a long time gamer. I have also been working full time and completing my masters full time this past year which has been brutal but I will be a mental health therapist starting June 1st! Listening to the Dukes between my busiest moments or during workouts, has been a huge relief. Thank you. As the Dukes yourself (you probably have answered this before) What do you use for relief between those busy moments or during workouts? Or do you listen to yourself? Thanks for all you do and God bless.

Eric

Dear Method Matty and RaeCog the Chef,

I wanted to write in with a health is wealth update. My wife and I recently had our first baby and I’ve been trying hard to keep a consistent workout schedule despite some busy days and tiring nights. One thing that’s been a huge help for me is working out at home, usually calisthenics. I love the phrase “a short workout is better than no workout”, and sometimes when I can’t run to the gym, I’ll put on a workout video on YouTube or simply bust out some jumping jacks, pushups, and bodyweight squats. I also think home workouts are a great way to build momentum for those who are starting out on their fitness journey and may be intimidated by going to the gym. For me, it’s hard to find excuses when all I need is a yoga mat and a few minutes to spare. Cheers and have a “we got gains at home” kind of day.

Hey Dukes Xbox seems to have a nice collection of western based developers. What teams from Japan and the rest of Asia would you like to see Microsoft work with more closely? I'll hang myself and listen.
