That may be true. As a Quebecer I'm sure you would be more than happy to be your own country. I'm curious as to why most Canadians would argue to not join the states? Especially if they gave us a 1 to 1 conversion of our dollar. Our economy is in the toilet. I just don't know where this new found nationalism has come from. Your golden boy Trudeau said we are a post national state. We are colonizers. So what is there to "unite" around exactly?

All the other provinces especially the east like Ontario and Quebec say we are red necks, our oil is destroying the planet, we are evil, all while wanting to buy as much as we are selling and happily taking this "evil" money as tax to fund all their worthless garbage. We are pretty much the responsible parents taking care of ungrateful kids. We would happily be the 51 state if offered a chance.
