Getting around to watching this at last (so who knows if ya’ll will see a new comment on a 3-week old video) and I just had to say that I see that sick SC&P shirt, Colin! 😎🥃

Maybe you're the airhead.. have you achieved as much success?

Man I can’t stand Destin. He just always seems like such an airhead.

Great episode with the OG IGN squad. I like listening to Destin’s insights on the industry. I would love to see him back maybe later in the year to see what he thinks on how 2025 went. Thank you for another banger!

Interesting discussion, in particular the console sales and the inevitable path to a console free future. As someone who works in the telecom industry, I can confidently say that people don't understand how much it costs to put in the infrastructure for this future. It's not happening anytime soon, unless there is something new pushing for mass upgrades of our telecom infrastructure to the home, and that isn't gaming. Just look at how slow Google fiber rollout is, or how 5G expansion has stalled with companies like Verizon. In my opinion, the future console is going to your phone, and not some cloud infrastructure. Phones will be powerful enough to play advanced games sooner than we're going to have telecom infrastructure in place everywhere for cloud gaming.

Ah another one of the OG IGN fellahs. Is he still with them? Always enjoyed Destins shit

I just entered the individual RSS feeds so I could take this one on the go today. It took exactly 2 minutes. How could you do this to me Collin????

Enjoyed the conversation but I feel like the conversation on a Xbox handheld feels very limited and not looking at the big picture. It would make more sense if we look at these devices simply as Windows devices, and could potentially be their next step into a Surface-like device that could be not just for games but productivity. The Asus Rog Ally and Legion Go (not the Logitech G Cloud), are Windows handhelds with every option given to them that a windows Laptop would have. They really need good hardware at a good price point, but what they really need to focus on the software as the goal here is probably not "Xbox Handheld" but boosting business in all pillars of their company. Xbox Games store also needs to have their games updated in parity to Steam but it could screw up Xbox/PC cross-play and saves as they give that function for a number of titles. It's definitely not gonna be cheap, but we are really not that far from something that could really unify Microsoft's core businesses which I believe is the major goal. Sorry for rambling, I'll go back to playing my Legion Go.
