In 2023, that number rose to 10,500, and just last year it ballooned to an unfathomable 14,600. Will it be worse this year? That's currently unknowable, but one thing's certain: Industry playing and spending habits are radically changing, and the newest victim of the environment (and loads of really bad choices along the way) is Warner Bros. Games, which shut down three studios (including the vaunted team Monolith Productions, cancelling its Wonder Woman project in the process) while declaring it's all-in on very specific IP, but nothing more. Is WB Games' meltdown a cautionary tale? Or is it a simple example of more-of-the-same? With seven out of 10 PlayStation 5 players playing at least one of the 10 most popular games on the platform -- and with an astonishing 40% of playtime on PS4 and PS5 spent with those 10 games, and those 10 games alone -- we are nearing an inflection point. There are too many people making too many games alongside too little interest in much of what's being released, and frankly, the bloodletting is nowhere near finished. We discuss. Its different contracts, depending on your hite date. I can tell you 100% I'm right because I literally work at the plant. Here's an easy way to look this up. Go to the UAW and Unifor website and look at the pay they just got in the last contracts. Its public. Maybe know what you're talking about before jumping into a conversation. We always negotiate cheaper here. That's why we have a job.

Not only is it making the game feel corny (more so that mtg already is) it's also eroding the identity of the game. Magics rule set is super comprehensive and there is so much design space but it's all getting eaten up by things that don't gel with my perception of the game. The casual draw of the crossovers has been incredible for wotc earning them record profits all while the quality of the cards decline (like the physical actual cardboard is flimsy and poor). The new players tend to not engage as deeply as already enfrachised players and so don't really care about the game becoming something different to the game we loved and grew up with. It's all just really depressing.

If you work for Stellantis in Detroit. You make $36 an hour. Canada $43. $36 US is $52 Canadian. We are way cheaper, and that dosnt include huge health care packages the companies have to pay for on the American side. They don't have to do that here cause our health care is provided by the government. Auto parts supplier margins are only 12% And its only that way cause the currency of the countries they work in our cheaper. Speaking on tje protections. The 80% wage when on unemployment is already paid for. 60% of that is unemployment from the government. The other 20% is from credits that are already paid for in a float. Them pulling out of the country dosnt effect that, only pensions. And maximum unemployment is Michigan is 20 weeks. Canada it's 52 weeks. I'm sorry to say your country has horrible worker protections. Considering they just got rid of consumer financial agencies and gutted the department of labor, this current administration isn't interested in helping the working people this will affect.

The workers wouldn't be laid off, there would simply be no company to work for. You can't require a company that doesn't exist pay 80% of wages to employees it has 0 responsibility for. Also, yes we do have those same protections or at least similar (not sure of timeframes) within our Auto Unions as well. We should not be building much of anything in Canada or Mexico when we have dwindling Jobs here and our Manufacturing towns are blown out hellscapes now because we were sold out by our previous administrations for the last 50 years. Do you guys have Large blown out (Previously booming) cities with average household incomes below 35k like Detroit, Rockford, or Gary? (You don't) Then on top of that we pay huge amounts of tax dollars to pay to protect the entire west from being taken over by China and Russia and meanwhile your gov can spend it on silencing free speech and push shit cultural ideologies all over the world. I like Canadians but our administration is the first one in many decades to even mention how unfair the relationship is. If the tariffs go into place the entire North American auto industry will go down in just 1 week. Canadian auto employees from the unionized plants have a 1 year safety net. They make 80% of their wage if they are laid off for up to 1 year. The auto companies aren't going to move, it's just way cheaper to make them in Canada and parts in Mexico. American auto employees do not have these same protections. It will be devastating to the US auto worker employees. As a Canadian, who did two tours in Afghanistan, I love our neighbors. It ain't the people I got a problem with, it's your current administration.

Specific orcs grow stronger after killing you and will also adapt to your strategies, they’ll also replace other orcs on the hierarchy as they grow in strength. It has been awhile since i’ve played but it’s very different from just repeating boss encounters

Mass Effect 1 2 and 3 all released within 5 years. Those games are all amazing, then they literally mass hired the new generation of activist college grads and 1 game took 5 years and was significantly worse than any of the previous titles. Then they kept hiring more and more of them and now it's been 8 years without so much as a screenshot of the game. The entire industry needs to cleanse out those college activist types they all mass hired and go back to smaller teams of passionate artistic nerds making games. Fingers crossed for 28k this year. Fuck em.
