Days Gone is my favourite ps4 Sony open world. Better than Horizon, Tsushima, Spiderman... But it's still a 7/10 game. 😅

Completely agree, the writing was bad, most of the main and sub missions were bad, I finished the game and can't remember most of it, only thing I loved from that game was the look of the city and driving in it. Gameplay was fine also.

I'm trying my best not to do it, but it takes about 5 seconds on PS5 and honestly, with a kid and a wife at home, I just can't stomach losing an hour of gameplay because a wild dog came out of nowhere 💀

On updating reviews: no Release the game in a good working state. You don’t get a pass because you fixed it later. CD Projeckt is never getting a dime outta me again for releasing Cyberpunk in the way they did. They knew what they did and they don’t deserve an ounce of good will for what equates to scamming paying customers.

So happy to hear that Gene is playing days gone. There is one thing though about the hordes only showing up at the end of the game, there are actually 5 smaller hordes available at the beginning of the game. There are "loot" locations in the early hours you can find already made munitions you can use to take out 4 of those hordes. After those hordes are taken care of, you get the best side arm in the game. Spawnicus Rex has a best early game start that changed the way I play the game.

Kcd2 has major bugs like cyberpunk 2077 launch bugs. Goty don't have system and game killing bugs Including overheating the ps5. I can only play for a few hours at a time otherwise I risk destroying my system. Warhorse knows about this massive issue and is working on it.

"There is no mini map...no direction....you have to put on underwear before your armor....you have to rest your feet". Regarding long game lengths, I believe the excuse of just skipping optional game content is lame. It's in the game for a reason and if it makes the game feel bloated, then the game probably is.

Thanks for reading my question about the KCD save system! I am, in fact, a gamer with a kid, so losing precious hours of game progress isn’t something I’m interested in. Without the mod I use for normal saving, I would just abuse the hell out of the Save & Quit option anyway. Maybe it would have made more sense to reserve the restricted saves to the Hardcore Mode and otherwise allow normal saving, since console gamers don’t have the option to mod it. Loving the game, though, and I agree with Lock’s praise for it!

Technical issues at launch not withstanding, Days Gone is one of the most confusingly shit on games in recent years. It’s a slow start, but I don’t even think it’s 10 hours to get good. It’s a legitimately great game.
