Dustin, I listened to the show yesterday and loved your coffee talk. I'm going to Japan this Sunday and added coffee swamp to my place to go. During my research, I also found a coffee shop called Cafe de l'ambre that looks very simlar to Leblanc from Persona 5. Just curious, since you use the chemex, do you use a burr grinder so the grounds are more consistent? Also, have you ever had Kona coffee from Hawaii? It's a bit pricey but it does have a pretty nice unique taste. The gimmick for that coffee is that the beans are grown on the ground of volcanic ashes. The Starbucks Reserve Roastery (there's only 6 in the world) has one of my favorite coffee the last time I went in Chicago. It's beans roasted inside used whiskey barrels. It's amazing! You can imagine all the whiskey flavor infused in the beans. I've heard of the cat poop coffee beans so hearing about the monkey one is news to me. I would try it if given the opportunity too.

He's inside gaming and looking up Severance theories dawg, he doesn't have time to gaze upon celestial bodies

Gooch Gobbler

Severance is Ted Lasso for people who think they’re smart but idk if y’all are ready to hear that 😭😭

Ryan

Nah season 2 was awesome. Season 3 though...

Jose Horrach

Dustin - on the topic of Ghibli collabs. Miyazaki’s son directed a much-maligned adaptation of Ursula K. LeGuinn’s The Books of Earthsea.

Trill Spencer

I need to replay it as well but I remember at the time my biggest disappointment with KH3 was the game never gave you long, sustained sections of gameplay. It felt like every 10-15 minutes there was a long drawn out cutscene that totally took you out of the flow of combat

Seany Mac

Hey Locke, Love the Lost talk… did you ever end up finishing Attack on Titan? IMO it is the closest thing to Lost that you can find.

Trill Spencer

Love Severance. If you guys haven't watched, Silo it might be better than Severance

Jacob Lesperance

Coffee is a good hobby as it can start small, but grows and scales well without ever getting too expensive.

NinjaDC

Add Shriking to that list too, they have become very consistent as a content provider.

Davario

Robocop Versus The Terminator shout out.

Derrick wears Vaseline-filled socks

Really enjoyed the coffee talk, fellas.

Cameron

lmao I didnt even notice- amazing. meta and true.

Jordan Falduto

Dustin has such addictive personality. He can't resist to go all in on anything that peaks his interest. Keep him away from drugs. He will search herion sub reddit and youtube videos to search the greatest high. I love Dustin He needs to relax. We'll watch Severence when we feel like. Lastly real men drink black coffee. I'm a fan of beans from Costa Rica

OrochiNewsTeam

S1 is a classic. S2 though…😔

On totk and botw it is so similar to me as well. Botw was my first zelda and I was not in love. Looking back I was realizing mario and zelda redo the same story every time. I couldn't finish it after falling off. For both games botw and totk. I see why people love it but I don't personally love it.

Eric

I love horizon zero dawn as well. Such a beautiful world to explore the combat was sick. People troll but it is so good

Eric

Echoing Dag about HZD - wild how fucking cool that shit is . But yeah god forbid the female protag talks too much since I played all 3 Uncharted’s (and the PS Vita one) where Drake doesn’t shut the fuck up but yeah sure let’s collectively blast Aloy for not being charismatic

A Hind D

Severance is definitely the best Apple+ show. Slow Horses is my second place. Such a great show

DeadMail

The Bear is good for the first season, completely falls off a cliff after that though

Adam Barnes

Black coffee for life!!!

Derek Alcott

I can say I have tried the monkey shit coffee. On my honeymoon last year we were taken to show how they made it on a day out and we tried loads of coffee’s and I can say it wasn’t particularly special. Kinda Smokey. Not the best shit tbh.

Fourth dimentional hypercube

no

Dustin Furman

i greatly appreciate Dustin championing Severance. rarely do i recommend tv shows, but Severance is special.

Jordan Falduto

YO! you could do a different coffee for every show! I can see the different colored bags now, come up with fun names for each brew. I'd buy last stand branded coffee for sure.

CriiWolf

I love Lockmort! Dare I say top 5 voice on LSM?

Diddy’s Dong Quest

I really think Dustin is overhyped Severence. Season 1 was good. If you go into it with that mindset, you'll likely enjoy it. If you go in expecting the second coming, I suspect you'll be very disappointed

Ryan Zimm

Colin would definitely collab with Black Rifle Coffee hahaha

The Devmeister

Dustin said there should be a moon symbol in the sky. Is anybody going to tell him?

Asique Alam

I really wanna see The Muppets: Snake Eater specifically.

Noah Friscopp

I would buy a Last Stand coffee roast

Haru Discourse

Need Dustin and Gene together for a Severance spoilercast! I can’t stop thinking about this show. Also, for anyone looking for something similar, please go and watch Mr Robot. Yes season 2 is slower, but 3 and 4 are so, so good!

Cai

I know! They had a solid start in a new direction, but they abandoned it. They need to believe in their vision more! Best combat in the series by far. I think a second entry would have been amazing after they made it past the messy development on Andromeda.

Dustin, hearing you like to consume content covering Severance, I really recommended this podcasting duo called Bald Move. They cover the big shows week to week, Severance included. They’re a couple of Midwest boys that used to be Jehovah’s witnesses, so they bring a really interesting perspective into everything they watch as “ex cult members” as they like to call themselves. Their Severance podcast specifically is called “Waffle Poddy” Edit: Their Leftovers podcast is widely regarded as their best work. If you want a podcast to go along with your Leftovers rewatch

Bogey

Totally. It’s BioWare who has to apologize to you

Pianopower

Mythic Quest on apple is a hidden gem. From the creators of Its Always Sunny.

Deathspank

I liked Andromeda and I won’t apologize for that.

Derrick wears Vaseline-filled socks

Who wrote the description lmao?

Shawn Kelvey Jr

Go birds!!! Super Bowl champs!!!

CastingCouch

Looking forward to the Severance S2 discussion Constellation episode.
