Hey fellas, A huge KEEP IT UP to Warhorse Studios. I remember being excited for KCD1 and instantly disliking it for poor framrate and bugs on the PS4 version. I played it for an hour and was out. Fast forward to KCD2 and I'm completely gripped by the world, systems, characters, etc. What a triumph in the RPG genre. Cheers to Warhorse!

Tyler Stafford

Hey boys. Warhorse Studios have created a masterpiece and I'm completely hooked on KCD2 right now. The world is immersive and every quest is exciting. The sheer amount of content in this game from NPCs, items, stats and systems - I can't help but compare it to BGS. How do you think other developers are feeling towards this game and what lessons can they learn? Can we agree that this is probably the best thing that has ever come from Europe?

mcarbra

what's up ss crew! i see gene is playing red redemption 2 and days gone. I recently bought red dead 2 on steam and will play it after I finish death stranding. I'm excited to play it on my oled TV at above 60 fps. I tried days gone and I dropped it after maybe a hour, I just played the last of part 2 and wasn't feeling it.

Ding Dong

Are you gay, son? Are you gay for me?

This Guy

Greetings illiterate peasants. I am currently playing KCD1, and am enjoying it immensely. Playing on Hardcore especially has really made the experience dynamic, and I have had to play it much differently than most RPGs as a result. The sense of progression is just fantastic. Just wanna know: What has been your favorite emergent gameplay moment that has popped up organically in the sequel? Cheers, and happy PSN outage.

Noah Friscopp

Greetings Summon Crew. Any thoughts on the new E3 2.0 from the ESA next year (Called iicon) ? While E3 was not perfect I do think gaming is missing traction on the larger base without its E3 focused coverage. Might be a small factor is slower console growth?

Gents, I see all of you are engaged in open-world games of varying sorts. What in each of your opinions needs to happen or would you like to see happen to shake things up? It feels like there's overall little difference between how open-world games are handled anymore. Sure, Ubisoft games are more checkbox-y than others, CD Projekt Red titles go the extra mile with narrative, but what might be something that truly turns the formula on its head?

Javin Mather

Brad and Gene, I never play any of the Resident Evil games as a kid since it was too scared. With the release of the remakes I've gotten hooked, and been playing all of them. Just finished 5 and about to start the last game I haven't play in RE6. I recall both of you have said that you are not anti RE6 like most people. Curious on your opinions of the best play order for RE6. Thanks again, Jared

What up Summoners, Gene - I’ve always been mildly interested in Days Gone, but just not enough to pull the trigger and try it myself. At launch, I stayed away from the game because of the what critics said about it. Post release, gamers had better things to say about the game, but there was still some mixed reception so I continued to stay away. As the years went on, however, I’ve seen people look back more fondly on it. So my question to you is: were the reviewers too harsh on this game and is it worth a playthrough? And bonus question: do you like it more than The Last of Us: Part 2? Cheers gentlemen! Keep up the good work.

Hey Summoners! This one is for Lock. I watched your video on Drova and decided to grab the game. I haven’t started it yet, but will shortly. Any tips? I don’t generally play games like this, I play games that hold your hand more than Drova. Any help is appreciated! Side note, I’ve watched and enjoyed all your videos so far. I hope you keep making them! Thanks for your work.

Tdot’s Finest82

Sup mooks, This one is for Gene, but no doubt the whole squad can chime in. Tons of people complain that act 1 of Red Dead 2 is too slow, but I disagree. I think the slow pacing builds tension and a sense of place better than any other game I can think of, while also cementing the tone firmly in Spaghetti Westerns, rather than real history. How do you come down on act 1’s pacing; hater or celebrator? Love what y’all do and can’t thank LSM enough for bringing much needed, high quality entertainment to my cubicle life.

Bloviated Rendering

Sup gamers? Hope everyone is enjoying Kingdom Come Deliverance II. I’ve spent a surprising amount of time playing the dice mini game. It’s definitely much simpler than something like Gwent or Queen’s Blood, but I still find it plenty addicting. What are some of your favorite games within games?

Meatball

Hey summoners! What games did you want to play, but couldn’t, because of the PSN outage? Thanks to the PSN outage, I could start High on Life and I finally went back to the Last of Us Part 1. (It is good I had them pre downloaded) However, I’m disappointed that I couldn’t do my dailies in SF6 and ZZZ. It made me realize, if there is an outage in a live service game, how could Sony compensate players who miss dailies? Some of the events are limited, and an outage could be the last day to get an exclusive item. It’s just something that I never thought about until now.

I’d Diddle That for a Dollar.

Hey summoners. This one's for Gene as I'm really curious how he feels about Days Gone. I platinumed the game about a year after it came out, and I absolutely loved it. I feel it's a shame the IP is basically dead, because Days Gone was more of a "video gamey" title from Sony 1st Party in my opinion. The gameplay was excellent and the horde mechanics were something truly special. Days gone is far from perfect, but it gave me hours and hours of dicking around on a badass motorcycle and killing zombies. And sometimes, that's all a man wants.

Petre Cismigiu

What’s up Goon Summoners, I only tried KCD1 because of Locks recommendation on this show a while back. Here I am playing KCD2 and being absolutely obsessed with it. I’ve spent the first 8 hours mostly just being tired and hungry and poor but I’m having a blast just learning the ropes. Thanks for putting my eyes on the series Lock!

Jonathan Gould

What's up Summoners! I've recently been playing through the original Red Dead Redemption and I'm loving it. I already played RDR2 so it's been interesting seeing how much the characters changed between both games. Question for Gene, would you say RDR2 is a better experience before or after playing the first Red Dead? Thanks for all you do!

TheUnchartedWolf

Greetings Summoners. When did game lengths get out of hand? I thought the original Red Dead Redemption was too long, and it's only gotten worse as an industry since then, but I'm curious what everyone thinks the inflection point was.

Hey boys, Just have a keep it up to indie games. I truly believe indie developers have more of an ear to the ground on what people want in games and they more often know what makes games special in the first place. Namely the innovation. Nowadays we see a lot of bloat and of course the live service elements in the triple A space. I think that’s a major restraint and a lot of the time makes said titles less of an art form and more like an endless stream of digital brain rot. Peace!

MeggerDeath

It still hurts to this day that Days Gone’s sequel was cut. The cliffhanger secret ending in Days Gone really set up a sequel and the unanswered questions still haunt me to this day! How did the secret ending affect you Summon Signers? (I’m referring to the O’Brien reveal, without going too far into spoiler territory)

DonglerofThaShnutz

What’s up my dudes! I’m a few hours into KCD 2 and I’m looking forward to hearing from its #1 fan Lock! Let’s goooo

Mark Melton

Hey Summoners! Gene I see you are playing Days Gone, is it your first time playing it? It's a game I really struggled to initially get in to. I don't think it starts great but from there it really improves and the middle section of the game is quality. It gets a little long so the final third, while better than the start of the game, does tend to drag. I think a sequel definitely could have made for a much stronger game and a shame we will never get one!
