I have a library of physical and even got astrobot physical (I even wish I didn't now) but man I just don't get it. You have to wait for/go out and get the disc and you need to download and install it anyway. I've never had issues playing my games offline. Then again, I just don't have to sell my games anymore to get by in affording the next one I guess, but I know that's not the sole reason

I’ve never gotten the trophy hype. Achievements always seemed better to me. Just seeing the number at a glance showed me how hardcore someone was. If we're talking mandatory requirement to play offline (which I'd call the "bad eggs") it's only 9% of games. 89% play either fine or with minor bugs. 2% have bugs so severe that a patch download is recommended and 9% are unplayable without a download. You can check the statistics at the doesitplay website. The common statements people throw around are stuff like "there isn't even a game on the disc anymore" or "games are unplayable without the day one patch" - that's simply a huge stretch. Especially for people who cover the industry for a living.

I have an infinite candle trick if Micah wants to try it. Get a wax melter and a few empty dishes for the melter. Light your favorite candle and then pour the wax into the empty dishes. Since I’ve done this, my favorite candles last forever and i don’t have to keep buying expensive candles. I have like 20 flavors in a bag and i swap them out all the time. Get the plastic dishes so you can pop them out and use different smells.

ND hasn’t released a game in a long time and after all this time they gave us a trailer with no gameplay and the epitome of what gaming is rejecting as a character right now; the girl boss. I got back into Pokemon when the Switch released Lets Go Pikachu. The last game i played before that was Gold on the GBC. Brillaint Diamond is the only Pokemon game where i had to reload my save because the final boss Cynthia absolutely rinsed me 😭. I got her on the second try. Otherwise Pokemon is too easy. I disagree with Colin on the whole Intergalactic thing as well. He’s acting like if you don’t like how it looks or think it looks great, then somehow you are wrong about how you feel about how a character looks, how a character acts, etc. He’s saying it portrays Alien which it really doesn’t. Ripley wasn’t this shaved head, smart alec, sucking on a straw with an annoying ass expression and attitude. Ripley was an officer on a ship, forced into a tough situation, and doesn’t act like a whiny tool. Same with Terminator, she wasn’t this character at all either. If you are trying to equate these characters with the one from Intergalactic, it shows a lack of depth of the series in question OR ignoring reality. I also am tired of when this is brought up, Colin is like these are the vocal minority bringing up these points. Why isn’t it the other way? Maybe the people complaining are tired of it and are starting to say so, and it’s the people pushing slop on us that are not in the right.
