In honor of Friday the 13th, the Dagster gets things started with some conversing about the things we’re definitely not afraid of. Which common fears don’t bother us in the least? Next, our good buddy Gene Park leads the gang in paying some well deserved lip service to our best friends. From our closest childhood pals to the besties who still rank high in our hearts as adults, who are the favorite past and present peas in or pods? Finally, Micah engages the crew in a thoughtful discussion about online rage bait. From the content creators clearly inviting the outrage to the audience reacting with expected levels of vitriol, the gang explores this controversial strategy of social media engagement in an effort to understand the insanity. And that’s that. We didn’t talk about the drones. We won’t give them the satisfaction, accursed robotic overlords!

So Dagan, Chris is a great fill-in host but I get bummed when he's hosting because it means you're gone that week and I miss you. I also miss Knockback and hope it returns someday. Gene, always glad to hear you on an episode and to hear your stories. Micah, I don't remember anything specific to address from this episode, but you're great too!

It was dark and the hall closet was right at the top of the staircase and the door design kinda looked like a mean face. Especially in the dark. Shit used to freeze me in my steps the second I saw it.

This is the internet. I disagree with Gene on many levels and I find some of what he has expressed about his outlook on life impossible to relate to but it’s always good to hear a new perspective. Especially when it is consistently well reasoned. Gene adds a different flavor to LSM and I think it’s been a great addition.
