Streetpass was a fan favorite feature with 3DS and should come back! Also, with Nintendo removing social media sharing, it’d be cool to see them try Miiverse again in some form. An online social space for Nintendo enthusiasts? Sign me up.

Given there's no prescedent for it to be otherwise (Wii U took physical wii, 3DS took physical DS, DS took GBA and GB, GBA took GB, GBC took GB) I wouldn't sweat it too much. As a fella with a large physical switch collection myself, I understand the concern though.
