Yeah, it's weird - does the number show halved on your profile's games list, or at least a fair amount less than what's on your dashboard?

2024-10-14 16:41:49 +0000 UTCColin saying the write in about the time played on PSN was boring stuff understandably (that was me lol), but I just found it interesting that time played on the PS5 dashboard seems to be double your actual time - which is still visible, but it's on the games list on your profile instead. Idk if it affects everyone, but based on what Chris said about his in-game SH2 file being around 10hrs and his PS5 time saying 20, seems he's affected by it too. Just a weird bug, and surprised it's still ongoing and not seen any reporting on it. Then yeah some other things were like how going to your PS5 dashboard mid-game pauses the timer, and how I can see my time played for Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 only when comparing to other players, yet looking at my own profile shows a different number - which is what I played recently. Just some weird quirks I thought might be interesting for anyone looking to keep their time played accurate when not actively playing, and that yeah, one tracker is now doubling your actual time.

2024-10-14 00:47:40 +0000 UTCChris, You mentioned having issues with only 7/8 of the player card changes being tracked for the trophy on Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. It might be bugged, but you may have also made the same mistake I did. On the "change your player card" screen, it only shows 7 options on the menu, but if you click on "Edit Title" (the 2nd from the top option in the menu), it shows a list of all the icons, but you can press R1 or L1 to toggle over to changing the text instead, and that may fix the issue for you. Hopefully that helps and the trophy isn't bugged for you.

2024-10-12 22:24:44 +0000 UTCI had heard of the controversies of both David Cage and Randy Pitchford, after already playing games they were involved in. It never influenced my purchasing decisions… However, saying that, I do find Randy Pitchford to be an ‘uncomfortable’ individual. Why I don’t feel the same way about David Cage, I cannot explain (need more time to analyze). Guessing, I think Pitchford is an awkward person on a regular basis (look at response to film, magic tricks, interaction with Kevin Hart, etc.). He bothers me on a visual level. David Cage has his own controversy, but I am far less familiar with it (articles on him seemed far more opinion piece with anonymous accounts VS. Pitchford’s far more facts and dates style reporting).

I'm open minded on the topic but from what I can tell the issue is simply a African Japanese man being the protagonist correct? The problem with all of this hyper critical questioning of the validity of using Yasuke as a character is that he is ironically more historically authentic than any AC protagonist ever. In the literal sense that he was actually a real human being in history that actually existed in Japan. He also was eventually culturally Japanese and spoke Japanese... so he is more Japanese than any of the westerners up in arms about his inclusion in a culturally Japanese game. Ezio never existed, and nobody called it virtue signaling when they used an ethnic Italian instead of an ethnic Ottoman in a game set in the Ottoman empire. And if this is about representation then there is a list of over a dozen games set in this era alone of Japan with Male Samurai protagonists, yet not a single game with a male Ottoman protagonist, where was the outcry then for authentic representation in AC Revalations? Liking Ezio shouldn't change peoples apparent stance that games using non ethnically local protagonists are virtue signaling. Was using the "Englishman" as the protagonist in Shogun virtue signaling too or is it fine if they are white? Peace and love either way 🤙🏼.
