Next, Dustin wants to talk about the movies that make us laugh. Which film comedies stand as our favorites and which ones do we think get overlooked? Colin takes a page out of Woodsy Owl's book (look it up) and would like to engage with the group concerning the environment. How do we feel about what we're doing to take care of the planet, and how can we do better? Finally, Dagan plays Constellation Creative Director and asks the gang to pitch him a Reality TV Show. Don Draper would be proud.

2024-03-28 08:48:09 +0000 UTCPart of what disgusts me about this big environmental push is how obvious so much of it is about money. Companies see it as the 2nd oil boom they have to jump on. Both those selling the new infrastructure, but worse large investment firms like Blackrock that have hundreds of billions in investments tied into it. And don't get me wrong, I grew up rural. I love nature, and find trees soothing. But there is a danger in pushing for environmental policies based on greed and not the right reasons.

It's hard to give a fuck about a pile of trash or an abandoned house when you don't know where your next meal is coming from. I hope there was at least a broadening of scope from that discussion.

All it was was every host going off about how they haven’t seen ________ and saying that they’re “just so out of touch” with the inference being it’s because they’re just so “above” it. It’s not fun to listen to. It amounts to the lamest and lowest bar of conversation at a work party where you want to connect with people but they’re in totally different pop culture spheres than you, and so you chat with them in a manner akin to chewing tin foil.

You are doing a great job and I think you are more talented than you believe in the realm of podcasting. I probably won't listen without Colin, but I am glad all of you can do more of what you want to do in the business.
