Our first ever video was posted Dec. 26th last year, and everything has changed so much from that one risk we took. My parents were (rightfully) doubtful in both anime and my new endeavor, but I was 100% sure of both. OG Naruto with my mom has been incredible, and I know Shippuden is gonna be next level...

2025-04-27 22:23:45 +0000 UTCI'm surprised she took on Naruto for her first Anime. Personally I always recommend "Death Note" as a first anime and probably would recommend Naruto as maybe at earliest the 3rd lol. If she rates Naruto as a 10 because of the emotion, Shippuden's going to be a 20 😂

2024-12-31 17:18:35 +0000 UTCSo the reason that Shippuden was able to come out right after the last episode of Naruto is because shippuden was being written after episode 136 Thus, during those extra 100ish episode of Filler, the Manga was continuing. Letting them get ahead enough so that the anime could go smoother

2024-12-31 10:54:07 +0000 UTCOne Piece, Naruto and Bleach are called the Big 3, as they are typically heralded as the most popular and well written anime. Bleach might be a bit too edgy/action packed for Momske to enjoy as much, but she would absolutely LOVE One Piece, it has a very similar storytelling style to Naruto. Although if she ever did watch it it has far worse pacing than Naruto ever did (only reason it's over 1,000 episodes long lol). Surprisingly it doesn't actually have very many filler episodes though (roughly 100 or so), just a LOT of repeated camera angles and recaps etc. If you ever did have her watch it down the line, they are making an official remastered version of the anime called "The One Piece" that supposedly will have higher quality animation and fixed pacing. I would highly recommend waiting for that to come out instead.

I can't wait for the start of Shippuden, I agree the early arcs are kinda slow but they've still got some great moments that I think momsuke will enjoy. 2024-12-30 23:16:22 +0000 UTCYep. He voices Shino's dad. I was most surprised to find out he's Ebisu's VA. It took me a while to listen to Ebisu before I could tell. That's the hallmark of a great VA. I could pretty much tell when Kakashi's VA is voicing other characters, Even when he tries to change his voice, like when he voices some of the toads.
