That's initially what I have been thinking too because he's only showing his good side and people around Hotaru are saying that he's cold to others. I feel like as we go into the series there will be more character development and it can turn out to be a really good one.

That could hint for something not healthy. And with her still not knowing if she really tends to love him... this all seems a bit off to me. I really wonder how this unfolds.
