Update (Taking a Break)

Just to preface: I'm not burned out, it's oddly kind of the opposite.
I'm taking a break from Patreon for 1-2 months and pausing billing so I can work on my backlog of sketches at a relaxed pace, and come back more prepared with a slightly revamped Patreon! It will likely have slightly less fanart only Polls and a quarterly Suggestion Box instead of monthly. Updates will be given closer to when I reopen. Until then, thank you for all the patience and support you've extended to me and I hope to see you... potentially in the new year!
The specific details:
Kinktober kinda opened the floodgates for me to just draw... whatever I wanted. In the way that I'm typically used to drawing, which is basically: have a fever dream of ideas and sketches, cave into every whim and tangent, dash between canvases until I'm out of juice... then wake up from my blackout and pick up (refine) the pieces LOL.
Drawing from scratch to completion within a month is not how I typically draw in my downtime. I really like sitting on sketches that I find difficult and problem solving them at my own pace. It's not efficient but for casual drawings it gets me the fun results that I still look back on fondly! So monthly polls where I have to force a new sketch page of the same quality each time (self-enforced admittedly) is quite hard to keep up w/. I can't really mull things over, work on the back log, and iterate on ideas without worrying about a ticking clock, which ultimately leads to less risk taking, less fun, less variety, and more stress.
For every new experience there's a learning curve and I count opening this Patreon as one of them. I hope it's not been too bumpy of a ride for you guys! Much to learn and adjust to, but I'm determined to find that balance so I can find enjoyment in drawing.

Polls totally not required. I don't come to Patreon to get specific things I tell artists to make. I come here to support artists doing what they want to do.
