May 2025 Video tutorial: Limited Palette Oil Sketch

This months video was suppose to be a drawing from the Willa and Dane set. Best laid plans.

I ended up catching Covid for the first time at the beginning of May. Although better now (still not back to normal) I just haven't had the energy, ability or desire to create any art this month.

So as I've been convalescing, I re-edited this video from several years ago when I first started my Patreon. Of course, if I were to paint this study today I would certainly do things a bit different but I've always liked this little study and I thought the video had some great content. Unfortunately, the original video was fraught with many technical issues, but in editing it down I think I made a fairly cohesive 36 minute video. Let me know what you think.

I'm hoping to get the Willa and Dane video out for next month.

Also behind the scenes this month, I've been working on many ideas to improve my Patreon. Including larger image sizes and packs that contain more images. I'm in the process of replacing some of my photography lights, computers and programs that will hopefully make everything run smoother and look better.
