Hello everyone! The moment we've been waiting for: v0.13 is now ready for a wider release!

The two Alpha playtests of this update have been very successful, and we believe we have eliminated most, if not all, of the bugs. That being said, if you encounter any problems or perceived problems in your playthrough, please don't hesitate to make a bug report. You can click on the little bug in the main menu, and it will bring you to a Google Form that the team reads.

Note that this is not the full Episode 6, as we have stated in our Roadmap post, which you can check out. This build is the second part of Episode 6! It features new scenes for Jeze and a multitude of lewd scenes, starring two guest stars: Ash-Lee VR and Dani Tea!

Backer Guided Code:

If you are a $20+ Backer, the code in the older posts will work for every version of v0.13 onwards. A new one will be generated for v0.14.

New Content

18k+ word count.
Added story scenes for Jeze and Mr. Noto.
Noto's Restaurant is now a location on the map, only accessible at Night.
Small conversations with Noto and the Goons.
1 Small Talk conversation with Jeze.
Added guest characters Ash-Lee and Dani Tea to Noto's Restaurant.
Added 5 lewd scenes for Jeze, 4 of which are repeatable.
Added 4 lewd scenes for Dani and Ash each, a total of 8.
Jeze, Ash, and Dani can now be hired for sexual favors at Noto's. These scenes are repeatable for in-game currency.
Added three text conversations for Hazel and Robbie.
Added four text conversations for Jeze and Vera.
Added one text conversation for Maki and Tay.
Added a cellphone that can be used to text characters, view stats, get hints, and features interchangeable wallpapers created by Kokman, Koth, and Choccykohi.
Added wallpaper unlocks throughout episodes 1 to 5 that relate to gallery unlocks. (requires a replay)
Added new 27 gallery image unlocks.
Reworked Gallery menu with custom art by Angry Peach, along with art from BDragon1727, Craftpix, and Reff Pixels.

Limited the number of times Vera & Hazel can make a special latte to once a day.
Expanded Dave's scene in Episode 4.
Altered Dave & Greg's scene in Episode 5 to be more ambiguous depending on choices.
Robbie, Maki, Tay, and Kayra have three new expressions (Annoyed, Tearing Up, and Scowling)
All love interests have been given the Concerned expression.
Maki has a slight upgrade to his body.
Robbie's sprite has been reworked to match the other sprite designs.
Vera's sprite has been reworked to match the other sprite designs.
All interactable characters and plot-important objects have been given a thick outline for clarity.
Fixed a bug where Frappy Star Employee's Sprite didn't show up when ordering a drink.
Fixed a bug where shadows showed up as gray blobs for certain NPCs.
Improved performance of Hazel's shower scene in Ep 4.
The game is now in 1920x1080 instead of 3840x2160 to improve performance for everyone and keep file sizes low.
Fixed Hazel's hair in Ep 4 shower cum images.
New UI elements to guide the player on where to go and what can be clicked on.
Changed the star on the map.
Fixed the Voice audio channel.
You no longer need to go to the player's bed to pass into the next day; you can now do it from the map.

Cellphone bios now show how many total "Small Talk" and "Texts" are available with that love interest.
Added Tay and Maki to the cellphone bios.
Changed how love interest cellphone stats are shown.

Fixed bug where clicking on the SP5 in Hazel's apartment didn't work.

The Future... v0.14, aka Episode 6 Finale!

Next up is the last bit of Episode 6! Which has stretched on longer than I wanted it to. Ren'Py has been a pain in our sides for a while now. As we have discussed, after version 0.14, we will be switching to Unity.

Half of our development time on v0.14 will be getting Unity figured out and building the new version of Hazelnut Latte. We have a LOT of updates and changes regarding Unity that we will be revealing at a later date. Much of that development is still underway, with me hiring new team members and us having constant discussions and working every day to bring this new vision to life.

The hope is that v0.14 won't take nearly as long as v0.13. A lot of v0.13's development got scrapped, which is why we are moving to Unity. After much discussion, we also plan on revamping the Roadmap when we have a clearer idea of how this whole thing should work.

We also plan to take the feedback you all submit and improve in areas we might have missed. The next version focuses heavily on Hazel, Robbie, and a bit of Jeze.
