Dreamworks' “The Bad Guys” is about a furry group of thieves that -- thanks to their leader Mr. Wolf -- experience a very interesting allegory of exploring queer themes against an assigned patriarchy that doesn’t favor them stepping outside their roles. And while the LGBTQ themes are present in only a metaphorical nature, the story of The Bad Guys can easily be seen as a queer one in regards to how two of its main characters, Mr. Wolf and Mr. Snake, tackle the metaphor of gay feelings, expression and exploration that is “goodness.”
