She's running with this opportunity to 1. Make him happy so he stops r*ping her every time he is shunned from society AND 2. Gaining some of her own power It's all about survival with Lady Danbury, especially at this point in her life.

Still it was good to see George come down from the clouds and get in touch with his human emotional side even as I did likewise over 5 years ago.

I know he doesn’t mean to(knowing what I know) but that doesn’t erase the very real hurt he just placed upon her. I like that he apologises but man the way I woulda slapped him for popping up just “for a meal”.

People could argue against her saying something, but once ‘the king’ says, its law. Idk i love the complexity of the characters we see in QC compared to Bridgerton(no offense bridgerton LMAO)
