If you never watched the music video to the Enemy opening theme, I definitely suggest doing that (and maybe a react) because it has music video only scenes of Vi, Powder, and Ekko as kids and it's really cute. You can see Ekko had a crush on Powder when they were young.

2024-11-29 05:14:07 +0000 UTCi think the idea with that song and the two of them is he loves her so much but knows they cant be together in their normal dimension because they ended up going down different paths and are destined to be enemies/rivals. hence "my greatest enemy is you and me" because he loves her but knows theres nothing he can do for her. shes a weakness for him and that makes their dynamic an enemy to him.

2024-11-28 10:35:22 +0000 UTCOkay So i learned after the finale that there IS a difference in each opening song, but episode 7 was the ONLY one I noticed naturally and you skipped RIGHT before it ;D the others are imo too quick to catch but this one shows an X over Vi when the lights cross over her (usually they make a V shape but this time it's an X over her face) cause she's dead in this timeline. Btw so happy to see this today, I love your reactions and this has become my favourite episode of the season, for reasons I cannot seem to explain

He likely respawned but he would be stuck in the alternate universe's Bandle City. He says he'll be back, he is pretty much immortal as long as his soul doesn't get destroyed, which also explains his absurdly long lifespan! :)
