This film was magical. Absolutely magical, wonderful, beautiful and full of so much love and soul. I adored Tiana! She's no push over, so head-strong with a giant heart. God, this movie was just a whole load of fun!
Until the fly died... what the F&%#!?? That was so hurftul and mean...
But yes, 10/10 from me. I adored it.

2025-03-19 05:39:16 +0000 UTCOne little detail I love is that: the dress she gave tiana was blue and not fluffy which implies that lottie got that dress made SPECIFICALLY FOR TIANA 🥺😊. Also I bet that Lottie did offer to pay for it but tiana said no as her father told her she had to work for it. So, lottie paid her knowing that her friend would feel it was a fair trade

If yuo haven't seen Mulan that's another AMAZING movie with a brilliant heroine(the animation obviously the live action is...bad, very bad)

2024-07-31 08:09:09 +0000 UTCI feel like this one is so underappreciated, and I really don't know why. It's one of the few where both the romantic leads are well written and fully fleshed out. They both have amazing arcs and I love their enemies-to-lovers journey too! Tiana isn't a damsel in distress, but part of her arc is learning to accept help so I think that part was important. I don't believe Tiana would have accepted money from the LeBoeufs or anyone else. I think the only thing they could do was what Lottie did, hiring her to make food. I bet she catered a lot of their functions over the years.
