I don't know if it's because I'm Colombian or if it's because I have a lot of things going on with my family but this movie makes me cry SO much, specially abuela' s flashback. Love this reaction ❤️

2025-01-20 08:22:37 +0000 UTCNot me crying when Mirabel had a flashback to her own gift ceremony when walking Antonio to his door. The tears did not stop the whole film. I was straight up bawling by the end. Please, this is like my 25th rewatch. How is it still so emotional!?!? Also, I love that Mirabel's door is literally the front door. She did get a gift - the house. She's Casita's next "owner", so to speak. Abuela's next in line.

Disney also did not realise how popular Louisa would be, and there was (and maybe still) is very little merch of her. I bought the Funko Pop as soon as I heard of it. I love Lousia so much, really related to her song so bad! I do hope you will also get around to watching all the movies: Turning Red, Zootopia, Raya and the last dragon etc. all of them! Wish was ok, it did dissapoint me, but only because I expected something big and grand for the big anniversary, and the movie was only OK 😅

2024-05-16 03:04:51 +0000 UTCone of the scariest disney villains ever - generational trauma. i cried so hard when i saw this movie the first time because i could relate to feeling like the black sheep of the family. it reminds me of 'inside out' a LITTLE in that as we grow up we realize that sometimes the pain loved ones inflict on us is because of pain we had no idea they were carrying with them all along (not saying that makes it right, just a bit more understandable).
