In my mind the bogeyman was also a development thing for the babies when youre a child youre scared of the bogeyman but when youre a bit older you realise he doesnt exist and stop being scared except here it was real but the babies stopped being scared when they learned what it was. And when the babies werent scared the bogeyman howled like a dog rather than roared to instill fear Its also not really clear if the bogeyman had the actual ability to harm anything it just seems like its whole purpose was to be scary it didnt eat just grew so idk but it was such a silly episode snd i love that
