Added 2024-03-08 17:59:04 +0000 UTCWell... this film was definitely not what I expected, at all. I didn't know if it was a sixth sense sort of thing or if we were dealing with time travel... No, it's GRIEF! That's what we are dealing with. Grief and Queer Loneliness. This hit me like a punch to the gut. Why did I think this was a gay romcom? Not looking films up before reacting has it's pros and cons lol. I think I'm in love with Paul Mescal!

2024-03-10 00:59:55 +0000 UTCI'm still obsessed with this movie, despite how sad it is, I cannot stop watching it, I had no idea that it was going to end with that kind of "twist." Now rewatching it, I'm sometimes like, maybe I should've caught certain hints or something but I'm pretty bad about detecting foreshadowing of any kind or predicting the way films and/or shows are gonna play out so I'm always impressed by reactors either giving an exactly correct prediction or even a close one. I'd say you got really close to calling it out somewhat early. Great reaction <3

On the other, I feel like it shows so much of the private struggles Iβve faced and still face. It would be like letting them read my thoughts and thatβs too private and vulnerable for me. As a gay man of a similar age to Adam, one of the most accurate portrayals of my queer experience Iβve seen.
