The final scene with Hawk and his Daughter? Hawk finally saying Timmy is the man HE LOVED!??? The tears have flown and my heart has broken. What the actual f***!!!

I cried I cried and was so angry during those years as I lost so many I loved. Thru luck I and my now husband have been together for 54 years. Thank you for reviewing this show.

2024-03-05 00:01:59 +0000 UTCthe last 20 minutes of this show are so hard to watch. i hope you're doing okay, niall! when i finished this show i bawled my eyes out for a good 10 minutes. i felt like ariana grande because i too didn't have any tears left to cry. and then i immediately wanted to know everything about the show so i watched a bunch of interviews, and i think it was matt bomer himself who said that hawk at the end is in his sixties but in some ways he is like a baby because only now he is actually realizing who he is. if you want to see the interview i'm talking about, here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0edx7tr7DYo the ending of this show is just so tragic, ugh it hurts so much :( that last scene hurts a lot especially. hawk crying over tim and telling his daughter about how he loved tim is sad but so beautiful. but the thing that probably hurt me the most while watching that last scene is the fact that the aids memorial quilt was so huge (and just kept getting bigger). so many lives of so many beautiful people were lost. basically a whole generation of our community was lost :( and the government didn't do a single thing for way too long. it's so upsetting :(
