The Sparrow and more

Hi folks! I'll try to keep this brief, but I have a few updates.

First, the Sparrow! I know it's been a while since my last page dump. I got caught up in the Kickstarter, the extra content, and catching up with some other projects. I am pleased to say I've got Book 2 outlined and I'm almost done scripting the first issue. Book 2 will be five 24-page issues and I still hope to begin drawing by the end of the month. I'll let you know if that changes, but hopefully, I'll have thumbnails and maybe even page pencils by November.

I also hope to start work on NSFW content again soon. I've been dragging a fair bit lately and my brain and depression needed recovery, I think.

Second, Pathfinder/Starfinder! I'm working on another pair of Strapping Lads-inspired publications. One is for Pathfinder and one is for Starfinder. I'm pretty much all on board the Paizo train (unless they don't get to unionize, but that's another story). In addition, Paizo has launched its version of the DM's Guild, called Pathfinder Infinite (or Starfinder Infinite). I really enjoy what Paizo has done with the TTRPG landscape, especially starting with Starfinder, and now with Pathfinder 2e. You can expect to see a lot more Paizo-related content here in the coming months. 

The Pathfinder Infinite license does NOT allow me to give finished content as Patreon rewards. In other words, if I sell it on Pathfinder Infinite, I'm not allowed to give it to backers for free. However, I will give you all extras, progress shots, and yes, NSFW content and NSFW variants of the content for sale. So you can expect Paizo TTRPG content, possibly including bonus usable content (stats, etc., for things that aren't directly published via Infinite).

Third, and more sobering: I have to search for a part-time job. My household income has been stalled for a while and commission work, while appreciated, is not stable enough to keep things moving. I bring this up for a couple of reasons. One is because I want you all to be aware that if content slows down here, it's probably because I'll have a day job. I don't anticipate changing things much (and I often get told I produce way more content than I need to anyway). But for now, I need something steadier than commission work.

The other reason is that I may have to dial back on commission work. I will still finish any on my list, and I don't know for certain that I'll have to change anything. But I want you all to be aware that, depending on how the day job changes things, I may not be able to take as many as I normally do OR I might have to take longer on them. 

I have no intention of quitting art, and I only need a reasonable part-time income right now. I have already gotten my hands on some excellent leads through some friends and family, so my prospects look promising. If nothing else, I will absolutely continue making the Sparrow, even if it takes me longer than before. The Kickstarter's success this summer has really given me hope for the Sparrow's future and I'm not going to let that go.
