I'm rewatching your reactions during a super rough illness. I don't think it ever really comes up directly in the show (as opposed to the comics), but my understanding as to why Luther couldn't kick Cha-cha and Hazel's asses is because the commission augmented their DNA in some big way. Five very loosely alludes to it a couple times in terms of his own experience there, but never outright states it.

2024-08-27 00:33:39 +0000 UTC- Five not telling people stuff was also a point of contention for me. - i always explained away the fact that they aren't very good super heroes with except for Diego no one has trained or used their powers for combat in many years.
