The man you mentioned has written for Doctor Who is Mark Gattis, he is one of the creators of Sherlock with Benedict Cumbarbatch and Martin Freeman, totally recommend it, amazing show!

Great reaction again, my only upset is the fact you're now halfway through the first series. But that first half hour is amongst my favourite part of whole show. (But yes, young Shadwell is very easy on both the eye and the ear. I'm a sucker for a Scots accent myself.)

Terry Pratchet is one of my favorite authors, and he has this silly, whimsical, absurdist writing style that I feel like Good Omens captures really well in their script. But I agree, its very unique and hard to describe.

2023-12-05 06:22:56 +0000 UTCI don't know if there's more too it, but the way the show is written has a very similar cadence and writing style to the book so my guess is it's just part of the way Neil and Pratchet wrote together.
