The point is that if people, such as Megan here, really cared about ‘saving’ the planet, they would realize that they’re wasting more recyclable trash than they are saving from just the reusable shopping bags. Kinda reminds me of people who recycle cans for some sort of recognition when really their broke asses are just doing it for the pocket change, lol.
