2025-03-06 05:17:13 +0000 UTCi disagree with what the mom said about logan when she said "he never saw anything he loved that he didnt kick to see if it would still come back" i think a better interpretation of logan's character would be he never saw anything he loved that he didnt kick to see if it would fight back. a great example of this was logan misstreating kendall for the entirety of season 2, and when kendall finally retaliated by blowing the whistle on logan and exposing him, logan smiled and was proud of kendall, in the finally of season 2 logan told kendall that he needed to be a "killer" (metaphorically) in order to be ceo and by the end of the finale when kendall blew the whistle on logan, logan thought that kendall has finally became the cut throat killer that he needed to be in order to become ceo, that is why in this episode he suspected kendall of poisoning the food. but from the conversation in this episodes it seems that kendall hasnt learned a single thing from his dad or from the company. this is shown by kendall saying "i think i thought i was a knight on horse back" refering to him trying to overthrow logan and become ceo. which logan responds to by saying "life's not knights on horse back, its a number on a piece of paper" and "its a fight for a knife in the mud". kendall views himself overthrowing his dad as a righteous endeavor instead of a cold calculated game. kendall needs to be willing to back stab whomever whenever for the benefit of his goals/company in order to operate in this field and potentially be ceo. which is something to this day he still hasnt understood. thats why instead of strategizing to force logans hand to cut him out of the company and give him his pay out, he instead invited him to dinner and essentially said "cut me out pwetty pwease", and thats why logan didnt cut him out. He's kicking him to see if he will fight back. he wants him to be a "killer" even when it comes to cutting himself out of the company. (sorry for the yapp session lol)
