Nokiva is right (can't believe I'm agreeing with someone that has my little pony on there profile), it's more about exploiting the race itself to make money, they had seen how much Black panther brought in, I'm sure there is a CEO saying "how much will a black superman make?" The character is already established, insert black actor to appeal to the woke mob and woke Hollywood.
