I certainly spent a ton of time on it, more than half a year of on and off work, touching it up, changing things about the anatomy, trying out different ideas. I wanted to really get the changing bone and muscle structure and skin of a midway point between horse and human viscerally in order to try to mitigate species dysphoria and express an aspect of it.
