At the end you can hear his final motions trying to stretch before he fully solidifies. Fun fact: When humans undergo transformation into trees, the skeleton is unable to change and remains inside of the trunk, completely shot through with wood, while the rest of the human becomes the plant. You can find mysterious skeletons in many of the trees of this park leading to claims that it is haunted. The few park rangers have an agreement with the faerie folk not to talk about this whole situation with the public and keep it hush hush. Usually during new recruit training, you can find a few more deer in the woods than usual.
