Usually the brain has already started transforming early so it makes it difficult for them to contemplate any irregularities, often even how to use doors and basic household appliances. At this stage they'll remove him from the locale and allow him to finish changing in a horse trailer so they can transport him to a final location to make sure there are no human elements left, and to process these out should they detect any before sales.
