Not sure who's in the photo, but instead of outright censure ship the way you did it here, they could of used the mask to hide their real face, used this second scene as a set up to "Omg it wont come off" then use photoediting magic to begin to replace the mask with a real horse face while continuing to transform the body. Again, not sure if you had much say in the set up but could have been another interesting take on what could have been done.
