Scrapers targeted my account
Added 2018-01-30 01:58:23 +0000 UTCI wanted to let y'all know that it has come to my attention that everything on my account was taken by a website dedicated to bypassing furry artist's Patreon pages and reposted, which has made all the content I create for y'all available to anyone and everyone without donating anything. It's become a serious problem for furry, transformation and fetish artists, as they've targeted nearly every one of these artists on Patreon.
I'm really sorry about this. For those of you who do not know, there's as site that uses bots to bypass donations and copy everything Patreon artists post, immediately reposting it. They now even have people that go on and pledge fake accounts, trying to find new ways of bypassing Patreon's security. I just got hit by a dozen fake pledges that Patreon deleted.
They've not only taken content but they've reposted y'all's comments too. For your safety, I recommend not disclosing any personal information in your comments that could be scraped. Make sure your display name doesn't have any revealing information either.
It saddens me a lot because of the support you guys give me. I want to give back to you something special in addition to the art that I freely share with everyone on my FA page. In addition, I'm a very private person, and I shared some personal details about my difficulties in my life with y'all, only for that to be displayed for anyone and everyone to see. I was under the belief that it was private and something I could share with the people that support me.
If you are reading this post on the scraper website, I ask you to be the better person and discontinue using it. It's a joy that something like Patreon exists and allows creators to live off of making art, which is very rare in this economy with how much art is devalued and disposable. Certainly there are a few artists that make a lot and won't really feel any losses as a result of a little art theft. But there are many individuals who are barely scraping by, and this platform is the first bit of hope they've had for being able to be professional artists. I've seen so many people struggle in this field and make personal sacrifices no one should be asked to make to try to be artists.
I understand that there is a huge wealth disparity in the world right now. Some people are so impoverished they do not have access to anything. And it isn't fair that they can't enjoy artwork. That's why I share most of my work on my FurAffinity page with the wider community, and just have extras for the people that support me, whom I believe deserve that from me in return for their support.
So if you are a caring individual and you've read this far, please support some artist today. It doesn't matter whom. Just find someone to help, preferably someone who is struggling to start out and is undergoing all those doubts and fears that may make them quit tomorrow.

I'm not gonna close down the account. I've been working on stuff, but I definitely need to be better about sharing my WIP. I like sharing completed art.

2018-01-30 14:40:31 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, situations like these are unavoidable. Sure, you could do what I've seen others do and not post the patreon content directly and just mail it to supporters after verifying they are real, but that's a major extra hassle to go through.

I for one pledge more to support you and your work than I do for the extra art; that's just a benefit. Thank you for doing all that you do here, I really enjoy seeing into how you work and the special things you create here.

The only thing they tell artists is to file their own DMCA takedown notice, which is absolutely absurd and doesn't actually do anything, cause yiff.party will just ignore it, and what are artist gonna do then?
