Subject stock provided by HumanimalZoo. Background my own from Big Bend National Park.

Yeh, the portrait, I just took some greenery from the horse stock and blurred it a bit to give the camera the appearance of closeness, but I wanted something more detailed and complementary for the final one. I did a lot of lighting editing on the photo. Usually it's common practice in graphic design to flip the image horizontally when you are checking to make sure your proportions are right. (Clears the eyes from looking at it the same way for a long time.) Turns out I like it better facing that way.
