how do i get motivated to finish my actual comms queue? cuz i recently got into situations that completely destroyed my will to continue..
Any tips or help? cuz i really wanna finish my comms rn, like i can finish 2 in 2 days if i really try and have 10 remaining

Every single time you feel like relaxing, take 10 minutes to draw before you do. Think: "it's only 10 minutes, I'll relax as a reward after it" Sometimes you might even go on for hours. Remembering why you liked to draw in the first place. This gives that spark of inspiration within more chances to catch. Even if it doesn't, you're 10 minutes worth of effort closer to your goal.

With the comms, you could just make a goal to get a certain part or aspect of a comm done a day, and take it slowly, it’s not good to rush these, especially for the art and the artist. The commissioners are certainly understanding and could be patient with the process. Art takes time, don’t burn yourself out in a hurry. Take one step at a time, and make a goal everyday for a comm. Sorry it’s long, but wanna help as much as I can ^^

2025-08-20 19:52:00 +0000 UTCThat reminds me of a comm that I still waiting but here's my advice take it slowly and finish comms of how much you can handle don't burn yourself out art takes time and people myself included are patient enough and being happier when the art comes out great.
