September 2024 Newsletter!
Added 2024-09-01 18:36:16 +0000 UTCFall is in the air! At least, Halloween stuff is in the stores. It's still pretty hot out. Anyway, project updates:
Donut Delinquent: We're 18 pages into Chapter 10: Hybrid Rainbow! I said in my last update that I wanted to be finished with this chapter by the September update, and I would have been close to doing so... had I not added like 10 pages of extra content. A few scenes just got a bit more padding, namely the Homura/Leo scene, the locker room fight we're seeing now and something a little later. Right now, realistically hoping to be done with this in Mid-October. After that, I'm hoping to round the year out with Chapter 11: "The Butterflies (I'm Into You)"
Voluptuous Vacation: Only managed two pages of Vacation this last month... Oops. Will definitely be more in September! Expect the next page in a day or so, as Liam gets his proper introduction!
Fat Fan Art, Donut Holes etc: These continue to be "On a whim" features, but I'd like to do more this month, especially for my Cafe Backroom tier members. Maybe the first Donut Holes for Voluptuous Vacation is in order...
Lastly, I'd like to point everyone towards Dr. Black Jack's Deviantart page, where the comic Damaged Goods continues publication! This is a romance comic set in the Donut Delinquent universe! It's completely disconnected from the story of Donut Delinquent itself, but takes place in the same town, so expect to see plenty of guest appearances! I've been working on this project with him for well over a year now, I'm glad to see it finally see the light of day! 8 pages are up now!
