Donut Delinquent Chapter 8 Epilogue (29-30)
Added 2023-12-24 19:47:53 +0000 UTCWith that, Donut Delinquent is officially done for 2023! I'm extremely proud to say that this year I drew 116 pages of this comic! This is absolutely huge for me, since in 2021 I only managed 14 pages, and in 2022 I only managed 50! I've abandoned the big pagecount, but as a reference, I started 2023 at Page 64, and am ending it on page 180!
I wouldn't normally do an epilogue for a chapter like this, but as you can see in the last page, I've also decided that this is the end of "Volume 1" of Donut Delinquent. 180 pages is roughly the length of a standard collected manga/comic paperback volume, so I decided to cut it off here. I debated having the next chapter be the end, but as you'll see, it's a kind of weird "in-between" chapter that's kind of a tunnel between major arcs, and this is a more fitting endcap for the story so far.
I plan to have a full Volume 1 PDF ready sometime in early January!
Now, onto the comic itself... Ryoko hasn't had the best showing the past few chapters, and while she's in am antagonistic position right now with Hana, she doesn't know half the facts regarding well, mostly everything. When she does get the fact straight, she'll be one of the best people in Hana's life.

Of course she fucking did... she's been shown to be a spiteful, despicable wretch of a woman prior to this, why stop now by lying to a dead woman's best friend that the daughter also died? I hope she ends up destitute. Far out mate, the longer this goes on, the more convinced I am that Ryuko's going to be horrified at how she treated Hana. And possibly livid at Lisbeth once we learn whatever it was that she did. All pure speculation though, could end up being entirely wrong and looking forward to seeing how things turn out either way. Merry Christmas mate, am curious if this was uploaded today on account of burnout or your deciding it would work better if uploaded on Christmas. But considering how things have gone, maybe it might be better if you stuck to the usual method of one page per upload on months you're working on something else, even if it means fewer pages are uploaded that month so you don't get burnout.
