The main comic is an emotional minefield right now, so let's lighten things up with this month's Patron voted Donut Holes strip! We're continuing "Masako's High School Years" this month, with Masako dreaming about reopening the Kabocha Cafe. I wonder if she ever wound up doing it? ;)
Thought I'd stronger tie this era to the main series by having Leo show up too. He's 19 in the main comic, so he'd be around 15-16 here. He had a long hair phase as a teenager, and I'd like to think he was forced into a haircut only right before the main comic started.
I've got a lot more ideas for "Masako's High School Years", so it'll be a reoccurring choice on the monthly Donut Holes poll, appearing every other month or so. (though not every month, I want Donut Holes to be varied!)

Every OTHER month then! Also, surprised at her reaction. Not that she'd deck someone for a comment she disliked, but because that comment involved calling her fat. Didn't think she minded it.
