Breathing life back into Donut Delinquent
Added 2021-11-20 04:41:33 +0000 UTCI had intended to save this announcement for Thanksgiving Day, but I simply can no longer keep this to myself... The Donut Delinquent comic will be making it's return, picking immediately up where I left off on page 12 back in August!
I could go on for paragraphs explaining my reasoning like I usually do, talking about my back-and-forth between written form and comics, my self-destructive hubris and ambition for my projects and all that usual nonsense, but I'm going to exercise some restraint and not word vomit all over this post.
Page 13 of Donut Delinquent will go up on Thanksgiving Day (November 25th) and will settle into a weekly update schedule starting on Saturday, December 4th. This, like with Wednesday's schedule for Sweets, is only a goal for myself, not a hard schedule.

I think the change back to comic is good, but you should probably take some breaks in between pages to not get burned out, and don't be afraid to do more dialogue than drawings. Still, I look forward to whatever you have in store, and if you need a helping hand, I'm here

2021-11-20 08:36:03 +0000 UTCIt's all good, mate! Visual novel, comic, doesn't matter in the long run as long as you're happy with it. Hell, it could be alternating and it'd still be good! Because if it matters at all, both your previous projects honestly were enjoyable and this one actually promises to be even better just by virtue of the premise. Looking forward to the updates resuming, mate. And as for a previously mentioned concern of yours, that of time, that's perfectly fine as well. One web comic, Rusty & Co, has been going for twelve years straight and has actually improved as the author's settled in as an example.
